The Westfield i-Racer was designed and developed by Potenza Technology for Westfield Sportscars. It was intended to compete in the inaugural EV Cup, which was to feature 10 i-Racers supplemented by various other electric vehicles. We were involved in the design of the majority of features on the car from chassis to batteries, powertrain and bodywork. The concept was designed to have enclosed wheels to reduce the drag of the open wheels as much as possible, with the Aeroshrouds reducing the drag created by the standard Westfield cycle wing and wheel by 40%.
